At Jawsome Education, our mission is to educate people of all ages about the diverse world of animal life, leading to a future of sustained conservation and protection of our species. We believe that in order to protect and conserve wildlife, we must first grow to care about and understand what we are protecting.
Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to inspire people of all ages to appreciate and promote the protection of the natural world with a hands-on approach to learning. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on wildlife and their habitats.

Hello there! I'm Nick and I love animals!
I am a University of Guelph Alumni specializing in the fields of Marine Biology & Herpetology, with a focus on the adaptations of predators and their prey.
I have been working with and caring for animals for nearly my entire life and Jawsome was founded as a way to share my passion and knowledge with others.
I believe that in order to truly understand and care for something, we have to be able to experience it for ourselves. Only then can we truly care about their plight and shape a future where conservation and preservation of our species is of the utmost importance.

Hi, I'm Rachelle and I also love animals!
I am a University of Guelph Alumni, graduating with degrees in the fields of Zoology and Geography, and have been working with and caring for animals professionally for 15+ years.
I specialize in the care and enrichment of birds and small animals as well as animal nutrition. I co-founded Jawsome as a way to educate and promote better standards of care for all animals.
Like Nick, I believe that learning is best done through experience and Jawsome is our way of helping others experience what we get to everyday!
